Selamet and his elderly wife Rohaya married each other back in 2017 despite the displeasing eyes from the people around them and the disapproval of their families.

Still, the two fought for their love and even said that they wanted to commit suicide because they were completely in love, so if one of them dies, then both must die as reported by Daily Mail. Eventually, they were accepted as a couple and everyone supported their union as husband and wife.

However, according to Elite Readers, there were rumors that the 16-year-old boy would lock up his wife in the house whenever he had to go out. He claimed that he did this out of jealousy. He was afraid that other men might take away his 71-year-old wife.

Additionally, as many other teenagers would have been at his age, Selamat is said to be extra clingy to his wife to the point that he even skips going to the mosque for Friday prayers which all Muslim men are expected to attend.

Being the loving couple that they are, Selamat is making it known to everyone that he plans to have kids with his wife. He even wants to have a daughter and a son and has already prepared names for them; Putri Permata Sari for the son and Andre Maulana for the daughter.

Furthermore, although there were no reports as to how the couple plans to achieve Selamat’s goal, there were claims that the woman has already been rushed several times to the local clinic because of being “too exhausted.”
