Several potential Halo Infinite soundtracks were found on a toy website

There are six tracks in total that could be parts of the official Halo Infinite OST.

What you need to know

  • A Halo fan has discovered six music tracks within videos on a website for Halo Mega Construx toys that may be from Halo Infinite's official soundtrack.
  • Fans speculate that the soundtracks are from Halo Infinite's OST due to the fact that one of them is identical to the one heard during the Halo Infinite E3 2019 "Discover Hope" trailer, and another is identical to music heard during the Halo Infinite E3 2020 Gameplay Demo.
  • This discovery comes just a few weeks before the Xbox E3 2021 event where Halo Infinite is expected to be one of Microsoft's premier games.

While fans have been able to hear some of Halo Infinite's music ahead of the game's Fall 2021 launch thanks to a few public releases such as the Halo Infinite track "Through the Trees," the vast majority of the soundtrack has been kept under wraps by 343 Industries and Microsoft. However, a Halo fan by the name of @realAyitSevi on Twitter has discovered six music tracks that could very well be part of Halo Infinite's score. Interestingly, all six tracks were found on the Halo portion of the website ran by Mega Construx, a toy company that creates LEGO-style brick building sets based on Halo's characters, vehicles, ships, and locations. Specifically, the pages for the Skiff Intercept, Warthog Rally, Energy Sword, Hijacked Ghost, Banshee Breakout, and Defense Point Showdown sets all contain a video that has suspected Halo Infinite music.

While it's not technically confirmed that these music tracks are from the game, the chances that they are fairly high considering that the music from the Warthog Rally and Banshee Breakouts videos are the same tracks that played during the Halo Infinite E3 2019 "Discover Hope" trailer and the Halo Infinite E3 2020 Gameplay Demo, respectively. Some of this music could have been created purely for marketing purposes, but given how rich they are in terms of depth and complexity, I doubt it. Since this discovery came mere weeks before the Xbox E3 2021 event, perhaps we'll know whether or not these tracks are part of Halo Infinite's score soon.

What do you think of the music in these videos? Do you think the tracks are from the game? Let me know. Halo Infinite is expected to launch in Fall 2021 (potentially in late November according to a voice actor's account) on the Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One consoles, and Windows 10 PCs. The full game's price is $60 according to a Best Buy preorder, though the multiplayer on its own will be free-to-play. We highly recommend checking out the Master Chief Collection while you wait for Halo Infinite, as it bundles all of the pre-Xbox One Halo shooters together for an excellent price. This makes it one of the best Xbox One shooters available.
