A new gaming chair? Indeed!
What you need to know
- Razer's Iskur X gaming chair is available for purchase starting today.
- It costs $399.
- The lumbar and head cushions cost extra.
If you've been a certified gamer for any length of time, you've likely seen your fair share of gaming chairs. However, have you ever seen the Razer Iskur X? Probably not, since it just released today.
Razer's latest seating styling can be yours for the (not so) low price of $399. If you want the accompanying head cushion, that'll be another $39. And lest you go without lumbar support, you'll need the lumbar cushion as well, which will set you back an additional $49. And don't forget local taxes on top of that, plus the thousands you'll need to spend on the gaming setup you're buying the chair for!
Assuming you've got the bank set aside for your chair needs, though, get ready for a treat. The Razer Iskur X features a backrest sculpted to support the spine, armrests built to cut down on shoulder and wrist strain, and an angled seat that offers thigh support. When's the last time someone offered you a chair and was able to proudly pronounce thigh support as a key feature?
The chair is designed to support gamers up to 136kg (299 lb) in weight, so you're either golden or are going to need a different chair.
Don't forget about all the other goodies Razer's announced over the past few weeks. Between a refreshed Blade 15 notebook, the BlackWidow V3 Mini HyperSpeed keyboard, and the company's upcoming first-ever E3 keynote, lots is going on at the house of the green and black snakes.

Green and black are back
If you want a chair with an understated, stylish design, the Iskur X is for you. Its green highlights are just enough to keep it looking distinctive without distracting from an otherwise stealthy overall appearance that'll fit in with just about any gaming setup.
