That's 46% off the regular price; if you need a new gaming mouse, this is the one to get.

Over 10 million sold to date, and the DeathAdder V2 is now on par with the Viper Ultimate in the tech department, making this an irresistible mouse for work or gaming. Get it on Prime Day for almost half off the regular price.

The V2 model of the DeathAdder took a great design and tweaked it only slightly; after all, why fix something that isn't broken? It's still a mouse for right-handers, and it's still one of the most comfortable mice around. Physically, the DPI buttons are a bit different and the bottom pads are a bit thicker, plus there's a profile toggle on the bottom. And while the V2 model is significantly lighter than the first version — 82g compared to 105g — the real changes are on the inside.

The DeathAdder V2 now has the same performance internals as the Basilisk Ultimate and Viper Ultimate, including Razer's 20,000 DPI Focus+ optical sensor, optical switches, and some fancy new smart features (like auto calibration). The Focus+ sensor has has incredibly high tracking speed (650 IPS), and you can customize the landing and lift-off distance for better control that suits your style.

The profile toggle on the bottom of the mouse works in tandem with onboard storage to deliver up to five settings profiles. You'll still need Razer's Synapse software to set things up initially, but moving to different PCs won't require you to load up the software to get the exact settings you need.

This is a wired mouse, but the Razer "Speedflex" cable (measuring 2.1 meters) is designed specifically to reduce drag. Along with the lighter overall weight, this mouse feels incredibly nimble. If you've been holding off on a new gaming mouse because you weren't sure which one to buy, we certainly recommend the DeathAdder V2. And with $32 off the regular price, it's a great time to invest, especially if you just picked up a new gaming laptop from our collection of the best Prime Day laptop deals.
