Here's every Forza Horizon 5 car confirmed so far

Forza Horizon 5 offers an army of cars to choose from when racing in Mexico.

Forza Horizon 5 takes petrolheads on a road trip across Mexico this November, spanning harsh deserts and lush rainforests. Playground Games is poised to deliver its most ambitious and advanced entry yet. The largest open-world Forza game to date brings countless trails to explore, coupled with dynamic seasons, extreme weather events like sandstorms and heavy rain, and countless other improvements to shake up every race.

The arrival of Forza Horizon 5 means a new roster of vehicles to collect, and while Playground Games is yet to confirm the full lineup, the initial reveal has provided an insight into what players can expect. While detailing audio improvements in Forza Horizon 5, Playground also confirmed that FH5 will include the largest launch lineup of cars ever, so we're expecting a ton of great cars. We only possess a fraction of the roster that's expected in Forza Horizon 5 — the Forza Horizon 4 car list now has over 700 models and launched with over 400 — but we're already receiving confirmation on some anticipated fan favorites.

Here's the complete car list for Forza Horizon 5 so far, with more added all the time.

How many cars does Forza Horizon 5 have?

Microsoft hasn't published an official Forza Horizon 5 car list, leaving us to piece together various sightings from trailers and monthly streams. While details remain scarce on the final car list, developer Playground Games states it "will feature hundreds of the world's greatest cars."

Forza Horizon 4 first launched with over 450 cars, the most extensive lineup in franchise history. Regular updates only increased that headcount, with over 750 vehicles now available in 2021. We're expecting Forza Horizon 5 to continue this momentum, launching with a roster in the ballpark of its predecessor.

What is the Forza Horizon 5 cover car?

While Forza Horizon 5 launches November 9, with preorders now live, we're still yet to receive the final cover artwork for the title. Existing listings feature its virtual Mexican vistas, placeholder imagery, set to be updated over the months ahead.

Forza Horizon entries regularly nominate a dedicated "cover car," positioned front and center across all copies of the title, with the next installment expected to follow. Previous cover cars include the McLaren Senna, the star of Forza Horizon 4, while the Lamborghini Centenario took the stage with Forza Horizon 3. Playground Games previously stated it has more "to share this summer" on the planned cover car. The Mercedes-AMG Project One is one candidate, an upcoming hypercar that starred in the Horizon 5 reveal.

Which Forza Horizon 5 preorder cars are available?

New Forza entries have historically featured several preorder cars, vehicles exclusive to preorders at specific retailers. The move saw customers who purchased the title at storefronts like Amazon and Best Buy receive exclusive rides, otherwise unobtainable in-game.

Microsoft appears to have transitioned away from this model in Forza Horizon 5, with no preorder bonuses available as of publication. While this has the possibility of changing before release, Microsoft's continued investment in Xbox Game Pass subscriptions and supporting services has seen preorder benefits diminish over time.
