XSEED Games have announced that No More Heroes and its sequel No More Heroes: Desperate Struggle will be re-released for PC via Steam. These games were beloved cult classics back on the Nintendo Wii, and hopefully, with the PC port's features, these titles will be regarded as some of the best PC games as well. So be sure you have one of the best gaming laptops to handle this series' insane, over-the-top boss battles.
No More Heroes is a 3rd-person hack and slash game developed by Grasshopper Manufacture Inc. and published by XSEED Games. You play as Travis Touchdown, an otaku assassin armed with a beam katana he bought off the internet, who's is on a quest to become the no.1 ranked assassin in the world (and impress his femme fatale manager Sylvia Crystal) by killing all the higher-ranked assassins.
Its sequel, No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle, picks up a few years after the first game. Travis is once again carving his way through the ranks of the United Assassins Association to reclaim his spot as the no.1 assassin. However, Travis is not just doing this to be no.1 again — this time, he's out for revenge to hunt the man who murdered one of his best friends.
The PC ports will feature HD resolutions, 60FPS gameplay, and many more features like Steam Cloud support. However, these games will require controllers to play because mouse and keyboard are not supported.
